Trieu Khuc Village Festival ( take place in the North )

The festival is organized every year to commemorate the merits of national hero Phung Hung and to glorify the weaving profession. This is a cultural activity in the traditional handicraft village in Tan Trieu Commune, Thanh Tri District, Hanoi.
Sinh Village Wrestling Festival ( take place in the Centre )

In Sinh village is situated on the south bank of the Perfume River, in Huong Phu District, Thua Thien Hue Province. In the festival, thousands of young people from Hue and other districts come to take part in the wrestling competition.

Lim Festival
(Quan Ho Folk Song festival) ( take place in the North )

This festival takes place in Noi Duc Commune, Tien Son Dist., Bac Ninh Province. It is related to a Kinh Bac tradition which consists in singing quan ho. The Lim Festival also commemorates Mr. Hieu Trung
Hau, who created singing quan ho. It involves procession, singing performances and many other games such as the swing, human chess, wresling and more.

Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival ( take place in the South )

This festival lasts from the 4/1 to the 3/3 lunar month. It is a very popular and joyful celebration-taking place in the spring, right after the New Year*s holiday, when the weather is still nice and the vegetation is blossoming. Many pilgrims go there to pray, but also to go sightseeing and enjoy the entertainment.
Dong Da Festival ( take place in the North )

Dong Da Festival is held in Dong Da Dist., in Hanoi, to celebrate the Dong Da victory on the 5th day of the First Lunar
monthmonth, by which King Quang Trung defeated the Quing invading army in 1789; and also to do homage to all those who lost their lives during the battle. The Dong Da Festival also involves the procession or the "Fire Dragon".
Co Loa Festival ( take place in the North )

This festival takes place every year at An Duong Vuong Temple, in Dong Anh District, on the outskirts of Hanoi. Co Loa Festival commemorates Thuc Phan An Duong
Vuong, whom the 18th Hung King gave his throne. An Duong Vuong gave his country the name of Au Lac and chose Co Loa as the capital. Twelve hamlets take part in a procession for the Spirits. Many games such as swinging, rice-cooking competitions, and tru and cheo singing also take place. This festival, also called Huong Pagoda Festival, is the longest one held in Vietnam: two months from the 2nd of the 1st Lunar month. During this festival, dozens of thousands of tourists and pilgrims come to admire the beautiful landscapes, the grottoes and caves, and to implore the spirits for good luck, wealth, and happiness in the several pagodas spread in the mountainous area. This festival, also called Huong Pagoda Festival, is the longest one held in Vietnam: two months from the 2nd of the 1st Lunar month. During this festival, dozens of thousands of tourists and pilgrims come to admire the beautiful landscapes, the grottoes and caves, and to implore the spirits for good luck, wealth, and happiness in the several pagodas spread in the mountainous area.
