HANOI – HALONG – HUE-DA NANG – HOI AN- SAIGON-MY THO –TAY NINH

9 DAYS –8 NIGHTS

A combination of visits in three areas of Vietnam. Northern Focus with Hanoi for its unique beauty of old French colonial architecture and romantic lakes right in the city and tour to Ha Long bay classified World Heritage area by UNESCO. Central focus with Hue impressive  Imperial Royal Palace built during the 18th century and untouched natural scenery along Hai Van pass. Sourthern focus with Ho Chi Minh city as the biggest commercial centre and My Tho as typical province in “rice basket” area of Vietnam. Boat tour in all the areas add to the excitement of the trip. 

Day 1:
BKK- HANOI

Arrival at Noi Bai International airport. Clearance formalities. Car transfer to the city. Enjoy water puppet show in the evening in Hanoi

Overnight in Hanoi ( 5-star Hotel). No dinner included.

Day 2:
HANOI- HA LONG- HANOI: (B, L)

Breakfast at hotel.

Departure for Ha Long bay- the world heritage recognized by UNESCO in 1994.

Take a boat trip through the majestic Ha Long bay in 5 hours. Exploring wonderful caves and grottoes of Thien Cung and Dau Go, which are naturally formed by island and islets. Set seafood lunch on boat.

Return to Hanoi - Overnight in Hanoi (5-star hotel). No dinner included

Day 3:
HANOI (B,L)

Breakfast at hotel.

Sight seeing in the city: Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, one pillar pagoda (11 century), temple of literature, the museum of ethnology, the West lake.

Lunch at restaurant. After lunch, continuation to visit Ngoc Son temple, Hoan Kiem lake, Long Bien bridge, Dong Xuan market, Hanoi old quarters. Overnight in Hanoi (5-star hotel). No dinner included.

Day 4:
HANOI- HUE (B,L)

Breakfast at hotel.

Morning flight to Hue Imperial capital of Vietnam under the Nguyen dynasty from 1802 to 1945. (airfare included)

City tour: Royal palace, Thien Mu pagoda by boat, shopping at Dong Ba market.

Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Hue (Huong Giang Hotel or equivalent)

Day 5:
HUE- DA NANG- HOI AN (B,L)

Breakfast at hotel.

Leave Hue for Hoi An ancient town on the way stop at Lang Co beach at where officials of governments of South Vietnam took holidays with their family, which is interesting for sightseeing and photograph and the top of Hai Van pass to take picture. Visit Cham sculpture museum and marble mountain in Da Nang.

Arrival in Hoi An in afternoon. Visit Phuc Kien pagoda, Japanese bridge, the museum of Sa Huynh culture. Lunch in Hoi An.

Overnight in Hoi An (Hoi An hotel). No dinner included.

Day 6:
DA NANG- SAI GON (B,D)

Breakfast at hotel.

Fly to Saigon. Pick-up at Tan Son Nhat airport. Transfer to hotel. (airfare incl.)

City tour: Reunification hall, War museum, Notre Dame cathedral, Opera House, Central post-office, Production center  of lacquer, China town, Ben Thanh market, enjoy Vietnamese wedding show at Binh Quoi village.

Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Saigon (Rex or Majestic Hotel).

Day 7:
SAI GON - MY THO- SAI GON (B,L)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Vinh Long province where you can take a boat on Mekong delta to visit Thoi Son islet, fruit gardens, enjoy the coconut milk.

Lunch at Trung Luong restaurant with a specialty of deep fried ear-fish. After lunch, back to city, visit Vinh Trang pagoda on the way.

Overnight in Saigon ( Rex or Majestic Hotel). No dinner included

Day 8:
SAI GON- TAY NINH- CU CHI (B,L)

Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Cu Chi to visit underground with over 200 km, built since the war against French. Continuation to Tay Ninh where you can see the praying meeting at Cao Dai great hall at 12h00.

Lunch in Tay Ninh. Afternoon return to the city. Overnight in Saigon ( Rex or Majestic Hotel). No dinner included.

Day 9:
SAI GON- BKK (B)

 Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for departure. End the tour.

Day 1
Hanoi
Arrival at Noibai air port, transfer to hotel in Hanoi. At leisure
PM: : Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, Old quarter of Hanoi. Shopping, back to hotel
Day 2
Hanoi – Yen Bai
Overland departure of Yen Bai. Stopover at Hung King Temples or Sightseeing. Overnight in Yen Bai
Day 3
Yen Bai – Sa Pa
Leave Yen Bai for Sapa: on the way to visit Lao Cai town, Cocleu Bridge and Chinese Border. Overnight in Sapa (Should be on Saturday evenings, when the Ethnic minorities Dzao and H’Mong go to Sap Market)


Day 4
Sapa
Visit Sapa: Sapa market, hilltribe villages around Sapa, Overnight in Sapa

Day 5
Sapa – Lai Chau
Overland to Lai Chau. Overnight in Lai Chau

Day 6
Lai Chau – Dien Bien Phu
Drive on to Dien Bien Phu, a famous name of a valley in North-West Vietnam, where there were last battle-fields against French Army in 1954. Visit hill tribe villages on the way. Overnight in Dien Bien Phu

Day 7
Dien Bien Phu- Son La
AM- Visit Dien Bien Phu, then drive back to Son La. Lunch half way. Overnight in Son La

Day 8
Son La – Hanoi
Back to Hanoi with visit to hill tribe villages on the way. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 9
Hanoi – Departure
At leisure before check out. Transfer to airport for departure.
