Tour offers visits and stops at 08 major locations of interests in each area from the North to the South of the country with time reserved for self-discovery and shopping in each city.

Northern Area:  Experience exotic tour by cyclo around Hanoi - the old French styled city with oriental pagodas & cultural temples and visit to Ha Long Bay - the world heritage recognized by UNESCO in 1994. 

Central Area:  stop at Hue – the old capital of the Nguyen Dynasty with visits to Royal Palace and the Kings’ tombs.  Boat cruise on the romantic Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda and assigned time for shopping at Dong Ba market in Hue.

Southern Area: take half-a-day tour to the south west of Saigon to explore the underground complex of Cu Chi tunnel and Cao Dai pagoda in Tay Ninh province. Have fun in the sun at the beach for a whole day in Vung Tau.  Go south to Can Tho to see the floating market on the Mekong River which starts in Tibet, China.  The last stop that cannot be missed is Ho Chi Minh city – formerly called Saigon – the main commercial center of the country. Visits to the historic former Presidential Palace, the Notre Dame cathedral and the exotic Ben Thanh market.

Day 1: 
BKK- HANOI Arrival :                                                           ( D)

Arrival at Noi Bai International airport. Clearance formalities.

Transfer to the city in air-conditioned bus. Check in 5-star Hotel in Hanoi.

Welcome snack or Dinner buffet with Western & Oriental food at the Hotel Restaurant (depending on the arrival time of the flight).  Overnight in 5-star Hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2:
HANOI- HA LONG- HANOI:                                              (B, L, D)

Breakfast buffet (Western & Oriental food) at 5-star Hotel Restaurant.

Departure for Ha Long: Enjoy a two-hour-drive in air-conditioned bus on good road watching typical country-side scenery. A stop-break on the way visiting the charity workshop to see local handicrafts and broidery work.  Arrival to Ha Long city and transfer to the Ha Long bay - the world heritage recognized by UNESCO in 1994.  A boat cruise through the majestic Ha Long bay for 5 hours. Exploring wonderful caves and grottoes of Thien Cung and Dau Go, which are naturally formed by island and islets.  Good scene for taking photos.  Set seafood lunch on boat.
 Life-vests are equipped on board – Water is calm the whole year round – Walking shoes are recommended for climbing up the mountains and into the caves – Drinking water bottles and wet wipes are available to travelers during the tour – Cleanliness on board is medium.  Medium-size lunch on board.

Return to Hanoi in air-conditioned bus in the evening.

Day 3:
HANOI whole day                                           (B,L)

Breakfast (Western & Oriental food) at hotel restaurant.

Sight seeing by bus in Hanoi: Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, One-Pillar pagoda (11th century), Temple of Literature, Museum of Ethnology, the West Lake.

Lunch with Vietnamese food at local restaurant.

After lunch, continuation to visit Ngoc Son temple, Hoan Kiem lake, Hanoi old quarters and shopping time at downtown.  All entrance fees included.

Water-puppet show at downtown Hanoi (show from 20:00-21:45)

Overnight in Hanoi (5-star hotel).

OPTIONAL:  Dinner with Western food in downtown Hanoi. Choice at Australian restaurant with best grills at 25$/ per person or local restaurant at 20$/ per person. Price is applied for the whole group including transportation to/from.

Day 4:
HANOI- HUE                                                          (B,L,D)

Breakfast (Western & Oriental) at Hotel Restaurant. 

2-hour sight-seeing tour by cyclos around old quaters of Hanoi

Flight (Airbus 321 - Departure 12:20 - Airfare included) to Hue – the Imperial capital of Vietnam under the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945.  Lunch on board.

Arrival to Phu Bai airport in Hue at 13:30. 

Cruise on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and MInh Mang Tomb (if weather allows).  Entrance fees included.

Set menu Dinner included with traditional Dynasty styled food at Hotel Restaurant

Free evening for self-discovery of Hue.

Overnight in Hue (Huong Giang Hotel or equivalent 3-star Hotel best in Hue)

 

Day 5:
HUE- HO CHI MINH CITY (FORMERLY CALLED SAIGON)                           ( B, L, D)

Early breakfast at Hotel Restaurant.

City tour around Hue city in air-conditioned bus: Visits to Royal Citadel, Khai Dinh Tomb, Dong Ba market for shopping. Entrance fees and drinking water included. 

Flight to Saigon (departure 13:10 with Airbus 320 - Air fare included). Lunch on board.  Arriving to Tan Son Nhat Airport, Saigon at 14:30.

Bus tour around the city – getting the impression of the city jammed with motobykes at rush hour.

Buffet dinner included with Vietnamese Food at a local restaurant. 

Overnight in 5-star Hotel in Saigon.

Day 6:
SAI GON- TAY NINH- CU CHI                                  (B,L)

Breakfast at Hotel Restaurant.

Depart to Cu Chi in air-conditioned bus to explore the underground complex with over 200 km tunnels built since the war against French. Entrance fees and drinking water included. Passengers are recommended to wear walking shoes for comfort during the tour.

Continuation to Tay Ninh province where you can see the praying meeting at Cao Dai great hall at 12h00. 

Lunch snack with Vietnamese food in Tay Ninh province.  Return to  Saigon.

Free evening for self-exploring the city at night.  Overnight in Saigon (5-star Hotel).

OPTIONAL: Luxurious dinner with Vietnamese food and traditional music show at 20$/ per person. Price to be applied for the whole group including transportation to/from.

Day 7:
SAIGON- VUNG TAU BEACH                               (B, L)

Early breakfast at the Hotel Restaurant.

Take the hydrofoil boat (45 minutes) from Saigon center to the seashore of Vung Tau – the famous  resort beach of the South for a whole day of fun in the sun on the beach.

Lunch with seafood at the Vung Tau beach.

Return Saigon with the hydrofoil and arrive to the city center in the evening.

Free evening for relaxation.  Overnight in 5-star Hotel in Saigon.

OPTIONAL: Dinner (Vietnamese food) in local nice restaurant at 20$/per person. Price is applied for the whole group including transportation to/from.

Day 8:                         
SAIGON-CAN THO                                                      (B, L,D)

Early Breakfast in Hotel restaurant

Go …. to Can Tho - the rice basket of Vietnam that exports 22 millions tons of rice every year,  Enjoy seeing the loading barges transporting on the river and the floating market.  

Lunch with Vietnamese food in local restaurant.

Tour around Can Tho city and Ninh Kieu park.

Dinner set (Western food) included at 5-star Hotel Restaurant.

Overnight in 5-star Hotel in Can Tho

Day 9:
CAN THO – SAIGON                                          (B, L,D)

Breakfast in Hotel Restaurant. 

Bus transfer to Saigon.  Arrival to Saigon at late morning.

Vietnamese lunch in local restaurant in Saigon ( Ho Chi Minh City).

Tour around Saigon in air-conditioned bus: Former Presidential Palace, War museum, Notre Dame cathedral, Opera House, Central post-office, China town.  Entrance fees and Drinking water and wet wipes are  available.

OPTIONAL: Dinner (Western food) in a nice restaurant at 25$/per person. Price is applied for the whole group including transportation to/from.

Day 10:
SAIGON – departure                                               (B)

Exotic Ben Thanh Market for shopping and leisure time.

Transfer in air-conditioned bus to Tan Son Nhat airport for departure.

A choice between going to Ba Ria province for 1 hour drive to enjoy hot spring bath or a hike in the hill to see the view or visiting the last Emperor’s recreation in Vung Tau.

Driving back and arrive Saigon at the late afternoon.
